One new thing I'm looking forward to trying that arises from our online experiences is to have students create Zoom videos of the oral presentations that they generally give live for an assemble class at the end of the semester. In this case, the videos will be submitted prior to presenting them to the class and that will be used as a tool to help them practice that oral skills, and will also give me an opportunity to assess what they're doing and provide feedback on their final project before they present it to the class. The zoom videos I think will allow both the students and myself to do a deeper dive into mechanics and content.
